Summers are a great time of year. Despite the heat the folks in south have to endure, it's a time when memories are made.
Things I have loved about summer from a child to all grown up.
No school. Vacations and Family reunions.
Swimming; lake, river, ocean, pool or pond. The water-hose will work in a pinch.
Fresh squeezed Lemonade.
Chasing butterflies during the day then chasing fireflies in the evening.
Ice cream, homemade even better. All the Barbecues.
Air conditioning when its 100+ degrees.
Driving around in a convertible on a starlit night. Or a motorcycle.
Sun-kissed skin, bikinis and skinny-dipping.
That first kiss was during the summer.
Hold on to these memories, for when it seems like the long cold, icey winter winds will never end. A few sips of Summer Fun will make it all better.
