icnic areas, playground equipment and restroom facilities, walking, roller blading, ball games, nature, tennis courts, handball courts, a winter snow attracts sledders to the gentle but fun slopes. Ellis D Kinney Swimming Pool just north of the tennis courts, is the state’s second largest municipal swimming pool, complete with a water slide. Park Hills Golf & Supper Club, 18-hole course with clubhouse, pro shop, cart rental, swimming and fine dining. Green Valley, a nine-hole golf course with clubhouse, located three miles north on Highway 61 and two miles east. Seidel's Course, a nine-hole public golf course located three miles north on Highway 61 and 3- 3/4 miles east.

Pratt Community College founded in 1938, a two-year comprehensive community college. Situated on an 80-acre campus, with both an indoor and outdoor rodeo arena, the Delmar Riney Art Gallery and Dennis Lesh Sports Arena. Check out all the music, arts, and athletics events at the College.
Kingman State Fishing Lake and Wildlife Area. The 144 acre Fishing Lake is located seven miles west of Kingman, along the South Fork of the Ninnescah River. Offers excellent fishing for largemouth bass, crappie, and channel catfish. Picnic tables, firerings, toilets, and a group shelter are available for visitors. Two boat launching facilities are located on the east side of the lake. A waterfowl refuge is maintained on the ea
stern two-thirds of the lake, including the campground area. The lake and surrounding wildlife area are ranked in the top 13 areas for wildlife viewing in Kansas.
Pratt Sandhill State Wildlife Management Area, 5,715 acres. 13 miles West of Pratt on US Highway 54. Then 6.5 miles North. In spring, summer, and early
fall, Pratt Sandhills Wildlife Area is an excellent place for wildlife watching, songbirds , game species, furbearers, crows, and a variety of other species may be found b y the patient observer. Vehicle traffic is prohibited within the Sandhills, so a walk of up to two miles may be necessary to reach some of the more remote spots. Six parking areas are provided on the main north south road through the area. Camping is allowed in the parking lots only and no facilities are available.
Texas Lake Wildlife Area encompasses 1200 acres. The wetlands within this area are managed primarily fo migrating waterfowl and shorebirds. Camping is allowed in the parking lots only and no facilities are available.
